World Bank rates Belgium on logistics 15/06/12
When the first edition of the World Bank’s ‘Logistics Performance Index’ was published in 2007, Belgium ranked twelfth out of 155 countries surveyed. After moving into ninth place in 2009, the country has now advanced to N° 7, confirming its role as a logistics hub for Western Europe. The LPI rankings reflect efficiency of customs and border management clearance, quality of trade and transport infrastructure, ease of arranging competitively priced shipments, competence and quality of logistics services, ability to track and trace consignments, and the frequency with which shipments reach consignees.
