Belgium grows fastest! 15/06/12
In presenting its economic forecast for 2012-2013, Belgium’s National Bank reports that, over the last four years, the country has enjoyed the highest average economic growth rate of any country in the euro zone. Bank Governor Luc Coene commented that “the powers of attraction of the German economy have played a significant role in this, and markets realise that the Belgian situation is not comparable with that of Spain or Italy.”
